HIF is becoming part of Dulwich College International

This will pave the way for HIF to move forward into the future

Hochalpines Institut Ftan will become part of Dulwich College International

For the time being, all courses will continue under the guidance of the current teaching team. "Hochalpines Institut Ftan with its location in the midst of nature, its infrastructure for sports enthusiasts and the high- quality education offered is an ideal addition to the range of schools of Dulwich College International," said Christian Gürtler, Vice President of the Board of Directors of Dulwich College International, after the signing of the contracts last Wednesday. With this takeover, the continuity for Hochalpines Institut Ftan is secured in the long term. HIF will continue to operate as a Swiss international secondary school with a regional and cantonal mandate as well as a boarding school for boys and girls in the canton of Graubünden. Details of future changes and expansion plans will be announced in a few months. Dulwich College was founded in London in 1619, and from 2003 onwards the renowned private school expanded internationally. Dulwich College International now comprises 13 schools in Asia and teaches over 12,000 students from around the world. Christian Gürtler added: "We have wanted to establish a location in Switzerland for quite some time. As a Swiss, this is something particularly close to my heart.”
